Had a wonderful breakfast here on a staycation in DC. It was an anniversary day for us, and they brought us out complimentary doughnuts. They were delicious! I ordered the Tabard breakfast and my spouse ordered the Tabard omelet. They were both delicious. The biscuit was flaky and warm, and the smoked paprika sauce for the omelet was very tasty. The server was friendly and attentive, and the space is cool - old school DC charm.

This place is truly a hidden gem! I came for breakfast not knowing what to expect, and I knew as soon as I had a sip of their coffee that the rest of the meal would be perfect, and I was right.

Hands down the classiest and best restaurant I've ever been to. The food was excellent and had unique flavors and components. We went during jazz night for dinner and it was absolutely perfect, really felt like going back into the 20s with the class wood furniture and beautiful art and music (we ate in the lounge area). Our waiter was extremely kind and attentive, she was so kind as to bring my grandmother a blanket (she was a tad bit cold). Very pricey, especially as our group was 5 people. But for very special occasions, it is a must visit!!! Absolutely adored everything about this restaurant.

Came here for a church event. Heard about this place but didn't know what to expect. The inside of this hotel/restaurant is very chic. It gives a modern flair to but also has some many antique pieces. The patio area was very comfy and relaxing. For drinks red and white wine was served. I am a bit of a wine connoisseur so the selections here are nothing to write home about but it did the trick. For food, I got the deviled eggs and mushroom beignets as an appetizer. The deviled head were gross, don't recommend. No seasoning, flavor or anything. It was an attempt to make fancy eggs and they failed. The mushroom beignets were amazing!! Even if you hate mushrooms I recommend you order. They weren't over powering or anything. The hanger steak was very tender and cooked perfectly. The star of the show was the chimichurri on the side!!! Wow some of the best chimichurri I've had. Lastly dessert. Opted for the rhubarb, chocolate tart. Very good. Balance of tart and sweet. 9.5/10 for me. The service was amazing!!! We had private room and the staff was on top of everything. I forgot the 3 individuals names but they were exceptional.
